Rough / mock ups

Day 9 Rough / Mock up.

Not the prettiest of pictures to share today, but this shows my 'roughs' before I start an illustration project.

This normally involves pencil sketching, working then on tracing paper with fine liners/pens etc.

These are actually probably my neatest 'roughs' as some of my initial sketching can be really basic!

Sometimes I just go straight in with cut paper and actually sort of draw with the scissors - when you just do and don't overthink it's when you do your best work.
